We were invited to attend and speak at the ASPO conference this year. The event focused on the distinct early-detection and survivorship challenges faced by adolescents and young adults with young-onset cancer. The session included research talks, parent perspective, and an interactive discussion on barriers, decision-making, short and long term effects, unmet needs, and priorities for closing gaps in care.

We attended and volunteered at this annual Blood Cancer United conference which is a free education event for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to learn more about survivorship and emerging treatments.

This annual Blood Cancer United fundraising event aims to unite people in stepping up to take cancer down by joining together in a moment of hope and strength, scaling various well-known buildings throughout the country. We participated in this year’s Dallas Big Climb, scaling 69 floors in the Bank of America Plaza!

Jhalak is the largest Bollywood fusion dance competition in the South hosted by the Indian Cultural Association at the University of Texas at Austin. This year, the competition partnered with Blood Cancer United and invited our organization to speak at the event, bringing more awareness to blood cancer in the South Asian community.

This annual Blood Cancer United event brings together DFW corporate and community leaders to raise funds in furthering the mission to cure cancer and honor those impacted by blood cancer.

Aa Dekhen Zara is an annual Bollywood fusion dance competition hosted by students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2025, the competition partnered with the Indian American Cancer Network to raise awareness for South Asian representation in bone marrow registries. KKBM was invited to help educate on the importance of stem cell transplants in cancer treatments and encourage people to join the bone marrow registry. By the end of the night, 86 participants had swabbed to join the registry.
