Stem Cell Registry Drive at Aa Dekhen Zara Dance Competition – Feb 2025
Aa Dekhen Zara is an annual Bollywood fusion dance competition hosted by students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2025, the competition partnered with the Indian American Cancer Network to raise awareness for South Asian representation in bone marrow registries. KKBM was invited to help educate on the importance of stem cell transplants in cancer treatments and encourage people to join the bone marrow registry. By the end of the night, 86 participants had swabbed to join the registry.

Stem Cell Registry Drive at Archgate Montessori Academy – Apr 2024
We volunteered with the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) at Archgate Montessori Academy’s multi-cultural event to raise awareness for the bone marrow registry.
Dare to Dream Summit – 2023, 2025
Blood Cancer United’s Dare to Dream project aims to expedite pediatric blood cancer research, bring safer treatments to more kids through Master Clinical Trial, drive advocacy, and grow education and support services for young patients with blood cancer and their families. We participated in the bi-annual Dare to Dream summit in Washington in 2023 and 2025, to review and reflect on the progress of the program, collaborate with like minded advocates to communicate care abouts with Congress to implement policies that remove road blocks, and accelerate access to quality care for pediatric blood cancer patients and their families.
